I'd rather be a forest than a street

Some people asked me some news in english and here it comes.
We are for 2 weeks in Argentina and by the photos and the titles, you saw that we visited Buenos Aires, Iguazu, Salta and Cafayate. After crossing a desert of sand and salt, we are now in Mendoza which is worldwide known for its wines. We tried them already in Latvia but here they look better.
Today, I will tell about the habits of Argentinians and some funny things that we noticed here.
The first incredible  thing is their addiction to Maté. It is a kind of herbal tea that they take in a big proportion in a cup and they add the water every 10 minutes. For that, they need a thermos with them and in many public places there are dispenser of hot water.
Football is a religion. If you do not know Maradona and Messi, it is better that you pass your way. As far as I noticed, it is not only men but women as well who are interested in it. Every evening and I even wonder if it is not perpetually, there is football on the television and people are watching at it in the shop, in the street, in the bars and probably in the stadiums and at home...
Another thing was the way they spend water in deserted area. We stopped in Cafayate (see the previous photos) and in the hostel, there was not a sink or a toilette working properly. I can not imagine how many cube meters of water they are wasting this way but as you see that in all the public places it is the same, it can be a lot.
At all, the landscapes are nicer than the cities. So the title is somehow a dédicace to the ones who will recognize and a truth...
